Why is my USB file not playing on my ENGLAON TV?
Most issues are not TV faults, usually caused by:
USB power limitation (5V / 0.5A) ← Most common
File format / codec compatibility
USB device quality or speed
Check USB Power (Most Important)
All ENGLAON TVs output 5V / 0.5A only
Common symptoms:
- USB not detected
- Disconnects randomly
- Files not be detected
Solution:
- Use USB flash drive (recommended)
- Avoid external HDD (unless self-powered)
File Not Playing / Unsupported
Symptoms:
- File shows but won’t play
- “Unsupported format”
Cause:
- Unsupported video/audio codec (even if MP4)
Solution:
- Convert to:
- Video: MP4 (H.264)
- Audio: AAC / MP3
USB Detected but Empty
Symptoms:
- USB shows, but no files
Fix:
- Format USB to FAT32 / exFAT
- Put files in root folder (no deep folders)
- Wait 10–30 seconds after plugging in
Video Has No Sound
Cause:
