Why Can't I Find or Install Foxtel Go on My ENGLAON TV?

Overview

If you cannot find Foxtel Go in the Google Play Store or are unable to install it on your ENGLAON TV, this is usually not a fault with the TV.

Foxtel Go is primarily designed for:

• Smartphones
• Tablets
• Web browsers

Foxtel does not officially support Foxtel Go on all Android TV or Google TV devices.

As a result, the app may:

• Not appear in the Google Play Store
• Not be available for installation
• Install but not function correctly

This behaviour is determined by Foxtel's app compatibility and certification policies and is not specific to ENGLAON TVs. Similar limitations may also occur on other Android TV and Google TV brands.

What Can I Use Instead?

Option 1 – Foxtel Now 

Foxtel Now is Foxtel's streaming service designed for supported TV platforms.

The Foxtel Now app is generally available on Google TV and Android TV devices and provides a TV-optimised viewing experience.

Please note that Foxtel Now requires a separate subscription and is different from Foxtel Go.

Option 2 – Chromecast Foxtel Go

If Foxtel Go is installed on your smartphone or tablet, you can cast content directly to your ENGLAON TV using the built-in Chromecast feature.

This is often the simplest solution for existing Foxtel Go customers.

Is There a Problem With My TV?

No.

If Foxtel Go is unavailable or cannot be installed, this is normally related to Foxtel's application compatibility requirements rather than a fault with the TV.

Other Google TV functions and streaming apps should continue to operate normally.
