Netflix app on older tvUpdated a month ago

Date: 12 February 2026

Thank you for getting in touch.

As of 24 February 2026, Netflix will require a newer operating system (OS) to continue functioning. Unfortunately, the TV is running an outdated OS, which no longer meets Netflix’s minimum system requirements.

If your TV is affected, you may see an error message when opening the Netflix app or when attempting to play content. This issue is not a hardware fault, and it is not related to network connectivity or Netflix account status.

“ This current App Version will not be supported starting 24 February 2026. Please upgrade the OS and App Version”

Or

“ Please make sure that your device has network connectivity and the Date and Time settings are accurate.”

Reason for This Message

Netflix now requires a newer operating system version, but the TV is running an outdated OS .
