How to Watch Kayo Sports on an ENGLAON X90 Google TV

The Kayo Sports app is not currently available directly on ENGLAON X90 Google TV via the Google Play Store. However, you can still watch Kayo on your ENGLAON TV using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Cast Kayo to Your TV (Chromecast – Recommended)

All ENGLAON Google TVs include built-in Chromecast, allowing you to stream content directly from your mobile device.

Step 1 – Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network

Ensure both devices are connected to the same network:

• Your smartphone or tablet
• Your ENGLAON TV

They must be on the same Wi-Fi network or the same mobile hotspot.

⚠️ Important:
A single phone cannot create a hotspot and cast at the same time. If using a hotspot:

• Phone 1: Creates the hotspot
• Phone 2 / Tablet: Runs the Kayo app and casts to the TV

Step 2 – Open the Kayo Sports App

On your iPhone or Android phone:

1. Open the Kayo Sports app

2. Log in to your Kayo account

Step 3 – Tap the Cast Icon

Look for the Cast icon (📺) in the top right corner of the app.

Tap the icon to search for available Chromecast devices.

Step 4 – Select Your ENGLAON TV

From the device list, select:

Your ENGLAON TV / Chromecast Built-in

Once connected, your phone will act as a remote control for the stream.

Step 5 – Start Streaming

Select any live sport or replay inside the Kayo app.

The video will now play directly on your TV while your phone controls playback.

Option 2: Connect Your Phone with an HDMI Cable (Wired Method)

If casting is unavailable or your internet connection is unstable, you can connect your phone directly to the TV using HDMI.

Step 1 – Get the Correct Adapter

Depending on your device:

For iPhone
• Lightning to HDMI Adapter (Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter recommended)

For Android
• USB-C to HDMI Adapter

Step 2 – Connect the Devices

1. Plug the adapter into your phone

2. Connect an HDMI cable from the adapter to the TV

3. Turn on your ENGLAON TV

Step 3 – Select the Correct HDMI Input

Using your TV remote:

1. Press INPUT / SOURCE

2. Select the HDMI port connected to your phone

Your phone screen should now appear on the TV.

Step 4 – Open the Kayo App

Open the Kayo Sports app on your phone and start playing content.

Your phone screen will be mirrored to the TV, allowing you to watch Kayo on the big screen.

Troubleshooting Tips

TV not showing in the Cast list
• Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
• Restart the TV and phone
• Turn Wi-Fi off and back on

Casting disconnects
• Move closer to the router
• Avoid using mobile hotspots with weak signal

No picture using HDMI
• Confirm the correct HDMI input is selected
• Try a different HDMI cable or adapter
