How to Choose the Correct Replacement Power Adapter for Your ENGLAON TV
If you need a replacement power adapter, it is important to select the correct specification to ensure safe and stable operation.
Step 1 — Confirm Voltage (Must Match)
How to Identify the Correct Amp Rating (3A / 4A / 5A)
You can determine the correct adapter by using one of the following methods:
Method 1 — Check the Original Power Adapter or Check the TV Rear Label
Look at the label on your existing adapter.
You will see a specification similar to:
• Output: 12V ⎓ 3A
• Output: 12V ⎓ 4A
• Output: 12V ⎓ 5A
The number after “A” is the required amp rating.
Method 2— Identify by Model Number
| Adapter Rating | Typical Models |
|---|---|
| 3A | LED24M30, LED24M40, 12VSBV3 |
| 4A | LED22M60, LED22X80, LED24M80, LED24X80, LED24X70, LED24X70PLUS, LED24X90, 12VSBMAXDA |
| 5A | LED27M80, LED27X90, LED32X70, LED32X70PLUS, LED32X90, LED32M80, LED27X90PRO, LED32X90PRO, LED40X70, LED40X90 |
Step 2 — Select the Correct Amp Rating (Most Important)
You must choose an adapter with equal or higher current (A) than required.
If your TV label shows:• DC 12V ⎓ 4A
Then:
• You can use a 4A adapter (recommended)
• You can also use a 5A adapter (safe)
• You should NOT use a 3A adapter (insufficient power)
Important Notice about using other Power Adapters
Third-party (non-ENGLAON) power adapters may be used, however this is not recommended.
• Warranty may be declined if issues are caused by non-original or incompatible adapters
• Damage from incorrect or unstable power supply is not covered
All ENGLAON adapters are:
• Tested for compatibility
• SAA approved and compliant with Australian standards
For safety and warranty protection, we recommend using an official ENGLAON power adapter.
