Does ENGLAON TV Support Freeview in New Zealand?
Yes. All ENGLAON TVs are equipped with built-in DVB-T/T2 (terrestrial) and DVB-S2 (satellite) digital tuners, allowing access to Freeview services in New Zealand without requiring an external set-top box.
Watching Freeview via UHF Antenna (Freeview HD)
Using the built-in DVB-T/T2 tuner, you can receive Freeview NZ terrestrial (UHF) channels by connecting a suitable UHF aerial.
Steps:
Connect your UHF antenna to the RF (Antenna) port on the TV
Go to Channel Settings
Select Auto Channel Scan
The TV will automatically detect available Freeview channels.
This is the most common way Freeview is watched in New Zealand.
Watching Freeview via Satellite
ENGLAON TVs also include a DVB-S2 satellite tuner, allowing reception of Freeview Satellite services.

Why the Freeview Streaming App May Not Appear
Some customers may notice that the Freeview streaming app is not available in the Google Play Store on certain TVs.
This behaviour is related to app compatibility settings defined by the Freeview platform, rather than a problem with the television.
Streaming providers decide which devices their apps support. If a device is not included in the provider’s supported device list, the app may not appear in the Google Play Store.
This limitation is determined by the app provider, not by the television manufacturer.
Your TV will continue to operate normally, and all other apps and functions will work as expected.
Alternative Ways to Watch Freeview Streaming
