ENGLAON Product Roadmap & TV Platform BreakdownUpdated a month ago
ENGLAON TV Platform Roadmap
ENGLAON smart TVs currently span three main platform generations:
- Android TV
- Google TV 3.0
- Google TV 5.0
This guide helps you quickly understand which ENGLAON TV series belongs to each platform, and how the product roadmap is evolving. The current ENGLAON FAQ already maps these three platform stages across the X70, X90, Plus, and Pro ranges.
How the Roadmap Works
Android TV
Android TV is ENGLAON’s earlier smart TV platform generation.
It mainly applies to the X70 Series and represents the older stage of the smart TV lineup. ENGLAON’s current FAQ positions this platform as the earlier generation and part of the transition path as newer models replace it.
Google TV 3.0
Google TV 3.0 is ENGLAON’s current mainstream Google TV generation.
It mainly applies to the X90 Series and M Series and sits in the middle of the roadmap — newer than Android TV, but below the latest Google TV 5.0 platform.
Google TV 5.0
Google TV 5.0 is ENGLAON’s latest smart TV platform direction.
It mainly applies to the X70+, X90+, and X90Pro Series, and represents the newest stage of ENGLAON’s smart TV roadmap. The current FAQ describes this generation as the latest platform direction based on Android 14.
